- Students with a high school math score of 80% or above and who are fresh high school graduates (not more than two years) DO NOT have to take the Math Placement Test (MPT), but they MUST TAKE the Calculus I Placement Test. Once passed, the student can register directly in Calculus I. If the student does not pass Calculus I Placement Test, he/she must take and pass MTT 101 with a minimum grade of “C” as a remedial course before registering in the Calculus I course.
