  • Student Outcomes

The Environmental Health & Safety program is specifically designed to provide the EHS graduates with high quality of knowledge and workplace training, auditioning and risk assessments of different types of hazards. The undergraduate Environmental Health & Safety curriculum includes different foundation courses. It includes also college requirement courses. EHS courses in fundamental areas constitute the core of the remaining curriculum. Several open electives allow the undergraduate student to specialize somewhat or to pursue broader understanding. An internship program embeds the junior students to real-world working EHS environments. Undergraduate research experience culminates the curriculum.

    about1
    Mohamed Al Hosani
Environment, Health & Safety program had enabled me to develop my skills and obtain better career opportunities. I graduated in Fall 14/15 and currently I’m working at Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety & Health Center (OSHAD) as Senior Occupational Safety & Health Management System Auditor. During my undergraduate degree in the College of Arts & Sciences, I was able to acquire high standard of knowledge and information. I had also the opportunities to participate in different workshops and conferences where I met people from different sectors of Industry. That was possible because of the continuous support and advising from our professional faculty who aim to link the theoretical part of our study with the industry
