Advising
Every undergraduate student will be assigned an Academic Advisor at the beginning of the first semester. The Advisors are assigned by the Office of the Dean and will help students by:
- Checking they have courses in the proper sequence so they do not miss any prerequisites or requirements in their intended program.
- Making them aware of any acceptable alternatives if their first choice courses are already full.
- Ensuring that regulations of the College and University are available and fully explained.
- Assisting them to plan their career.
- Receiving all information about the student’s learning progress and grades and discussing it with them to make sure that they are aware of consequences.
Students are requested to approach the College Secretary to be assigned an advisor.
