Professor Ali Azad joined the faculty of the College of Business Administration at Abu Dhabi University in the fall of 2006. Prior to joining ADU, he was Professor of Accounting and the Executive Director of the MBA program at the United Arab Emirates University.
Professor Azad, a twice recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award in US, has authored two books and has over 50 research articles and presentations in refereed international journals and conferences.
Professor Azad serves as an editor for more than a dozen international journals. In addition, he has served as a senior consultant to some major universities in US in the area of curricula development for graduate degree programs. Professor Azad, a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) has received his BBA, MSc, and Ph.D. from the University of North Texas (UNT), USA in 1988.
