Terry Motiuk

Dr. Motiuk received his Masters degree in business administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland, followed by a PhD in Business Administration (specializing in strategic planning in education) from Bircham International University, originating in Great Britain. Prior to this Terry completed two professional accounting designations in Canada: Certified General Accountant (CGA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Dr. Terry’s professional experience has spanned over 30 years in the education, healthcare, public accounting and legal system fields, both in the private and public sectors.
He specializes in startups/setups of new organizations as well as major expansions. Combining both a public perspective of accountability and client focus, with the private sector mentality of being practical and bottom line driven, enables Dr. Motiuk to bring the best of both worlds in planning and decision making.
Most recently Dr. Motiuk spent time in Riyadh in the startup of an American model private research university, as well as in Ontario Canada for a college who converted over to be a new university. Prior to this he worked for Harvard University in setting up the Dubai Healthcare City for education, research and clinical services. In Qatar he was instrumental in the development of a unique higher education model, called Education City. Elite US research-based universities have established branch campuses offering the same quality and degrees as the mother university for a particular program. In addition, he was the project manager in the development of a US model Academic Medical Hospital into the implementation stage.
