Our Campuses
Abu Dhabi City Campus
Abu Dhabi University opened a new world class campus at Khalifa City in October 2006. The new ADU campus, upon completion, will include a teaching hospital, a mosque, a graduate centre and a sports field. A school with nursery, kindergarten and junior sections through Grade 12 will be built, which will eventually cater to 2000 students. Space has also been allocated for further development of facilities in order to ensure the University meets the needs of students in years to come. The campus also has a car parking system providing for 14000 students with separate areas for the arrival and departure of cars and buses, all of which is divided into separate sections for male and female students. The main education building covers a total area of 43,000 square meters and includes a 630-seat auditorium, 90 classrooms, state-of-the-art engineering labs and U-shaped computer labs for ease of teaching and communication, a food court area with six food outlets, fully-equipped medical clinic as well as a plan in the near future to open a general store, grocery store, laundry, a post office and a stationary shop.
The Abu Dhabi campus is located just 20 minutes away from downtown Abu Dhabi on the main Al Ain-Abu Dhabi highway.
