Research Council
The Research Council is responsible for recommending policies and procedures pertaining to the development of research and scholarly activities at Abu Dhabi University. It facilitates research activities among faculty and students and makes recommendations on the effective and efficient use of resources in the production of research. The Research Council works towards enhancing the ability of the University to realize its potential for distinction in research and scholarly activities. The Council seeks to create a supportive and enabling environment for research at Abu Dhabi University.
The Research Council serves in an advisory capacity to Dean of the College of Research and Graduate Studies. Two graduate faculty representatives from each College are elected by College faculty and serve as members of the Research Council. The Research Council shall report directly to the Academic Council. Meetings are held on a bi-weekly basis or as called for by the Chair.
