Abu Dhabi University is a truly unique university with a diverse international student body as it is home to students from all over the world.

Student organizations exist because they play a key role in students' success and enjoyment. Students can benefit a lot from joining any number of student organizations, where they will have the opportunity meet new people and develop friendships, contribute to the community, gain experience, develop leadership skills, and over all have a lot of fun.

Student Clubs

Students at Abu Dhabi University are encouraged to join any student society on campus. They are also encouraged to establish their own societies for the purposes of fostering understanding, unity and cordial relationships amongst themselves.

How to Start a Club

Students who are interested starting a club must:

  • Provide a detailed proposal outlining the aims and activities of the club to the Student Activities Office.
  • Upon approval, the club members must elect a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary and a faculty or staff advisor to administer the activities.
  • Club members must fill in an application form and submit it to the Student Engagement & Development Office.

Upon receiving all the required signatures, the club will be officially recognized by the University of Abu Dhabi.
