Student-Success Recognition
Abu Dhabi University is committed to providing the highest standards of instructions to its students. Abu Dhabi University is also committed to recognizing academic excellence and strives to shed light on such achievements to foster further excellence and outstanding academic performance. The Student Appreciation Ceremony is organized every semester for Honor students, and their parents, who have maintained 3.75 or above in their semester GPA and earned 12 credit hours or more. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the academic excellence and success of the students who have displayed not only hard work, but a desire to drive above and beyond the minimum required. Academic excellence is a promise of commitment and dedication that students make to their academic careers. We, at ADU, work hard to encourage that promise to come forward and be fulfilled.
The Overall Awards of Excellence are given to two honor students from each college (one male and one female student) who have made a significant contribution to the college and to campus life. A committee, made of the Dean, selected faculty members, Registrar and Director of Student Services, selects the recipients of the Awards every semester.
The Student Appreciation Ceremony plays a vital role in establishing and expanding the culture of academic excellence as one of the main priorities in the university’s strategic drive in all present and future endeavors.
