CONVOCATION CEREMONY AT ABU DHABI UNIVERSITY
Abu Dhabi University held a convocation ceremony for its faculty and staff on both its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses.
Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, the Abu Dhabi University Chancellor, stated that the meeting focused on the university’s strategy, vision, achievements, challenges, and strategic plans for the future. 
The Chancellor noted that the university’s strategy is based on a shared vision, focused and achievable strategic goals, institutional culture, competent human capital, pride in quality, effective leadership, and team spirit.
The Chancellor also mentioned that the university’s future plans include obtaining regional recognition, enhancing campus and student engagement, increasing funding, reducing dependency on tuition, encouraging the development of new academic programs, and developing an ADU strategy for research that will foster applied research and encourage faculty scholarship.
