“Teaching is about learning and learning is a shared responsibility between all members of the class and society at large. The mere fact of lecturing does not ensure learning. The ultimate goal of teaching should be to make the body of knowledge of both students and teachers grow. That happens when new connections between known concepts are made, new concepts are added, and links between old and new concepts are made. Learning only happens from and with inquisitive minds. Learning happens only when there is a shared respect of everyone’s abilities to think, search, and inquire. Only then, the body of knowledge would grow.”
