The exclusive partnership in the UAE between the renowned IFC (Institute of Financial Consultants) and the College of Business Administration at Abu Dhabi University will give you an indisputable competitive edge.
The normal process of acquiring this valuable qualification takes students about 6 months. However, the ADU-IFC partnership will give you the opportunity to be an Associate member of the Institute of Financial Consultants or a Certified Financial Consultant. Once you complete the ADU degree requirements for the BBA in Finance or the BBA in Accounting, you don’t need to sit for any exam to receive both prestigious designations.
Which IFC designation can you apply for?
1. Associate Member of IFC
With the ADU-IFC partnership, the eligible ADU students will not have to sit for any exam to be an Associate Member of the IFC.
A. Eligibility Criteria
|i) All the Finance graduates students
ii) Accounting graduates students.
Should have completed the following courses:
1- Managerial Finance (FIN 301);
2- Financial Statement Analysis (FIN 302);
3- Risk Management and Insurance (FIN 303);
4- Investment and Finance Policy (FIN 401); and
5- International Finance (FIN 407).
2. Certificate in Financial Consulting
The Certificate in Financial Consulting (CFC) is offered 100% online and is designed for high-achieving individuals who want to take the next major step along their career path within a vast range of key financial areas. The usual requirement for this designation is to pass an exam including the following topics:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis;
- Quantitative Methods of Investment Management;
- Corporate Finance;
- International Financial Markets and Institutions; and
- Risk Management.
With the ADU-IFC partnership, the eligible ADU students will not have to sit for the exam.
The BBA in Finance or Accounting alumni with 3 years’ experience in the field of Finance or Accounting are directly eligible for this certificate.
A. Eligibility Criteria
- All the Finance Alumni with 3 years experience in the field of Finance or Accounting
- The Accounting Alumni should have completed the 5 above cited Finance courses and have 3 years’ experience in the field of Finance or Accounting.
