Achieve, Lead, Succeed and Connect with the best in business through BGS
Beta Gamma Sigma, College of Business Administration, Abu Dhabi University Chapter
The College of Business Administration is pleased to start Beta Gamma Sigma International Honors Society (BGS) Chapter at Abu Dhabi University. The College of Business Administration at Abu Dhabi University is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which recognizes the highest quality business programs in the world. With more than 500 Chapters worldwide, BGS celebrates academic excellence in undergraduate and graduate business studies.
We are delighted to acknowledge our students who have achieved academic excellence by being inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honors Society (BGS). This is the highest recognition a business student/professionals anywhere in the world can receive. Students who achieve membership in BGS are recognized as the top business students in the world!
What is Beta Gamma Sigma?
Beta Gamma Sigma was founded as a national organization in 1913. The first national honor society in business was a merger of three separate societies established to honor academic achievement in business at the University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois and the University of California.
How do I become a BGS member?
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma Honors society is the highest international recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or master's program accredited by the AACSB. To be eligible for an invitation to membership, a student must rank in the top 7% of the BBA junior class (after you have completed 60-90 COBA credits), upper 10% of the senior class (after you have completed 90-120 COBA credits), or upper 20% of the graduating master's class (MBA/MHRM). The students are named by the faculty of their schools. Their selection not only recognizes academic achievement, but also expresses confidence in the students' abilities and promise to become outstanding business leaders in the future.
