Dr. Alaa Siddig

Assistant Professor, Molecular Pathology, College of Health Sciences

Dr. Alaa Siddig is a molecular pathologist and educator with a diverse background in clinical laboratory science, research, and teaching. She holds a PhD in Molecular Pathology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where her research focused on the transcriptomic profiling of early-onset breast cancer, utilizing advanced techniques in bioinformatics, gene expression analysis, and immunohistochemistry. She is also an experienced medical laboratory scientist, certified by the ASCP and DHA in cytology, with hands-on expertise in histopathology, cytopathology, and clinical diagnostics. Her work bridges the gap between cutting-edge molecular research and practical clinical application.
