Dr. Hemad Yasaei is the Head of the Molecular Genomics Department at the National Reference Laboratory (M42) in Abu Dhabi. A licensed Clinical Scientist with a PhD in Cancer Genetics, he possesses extensive expertise in molecular diagnostics, genomics, and cytogenetics. Dr. Yasaei has a strong background in leading diagnostic laboratories, expanding test menus, and ensuring CAP accreditation compliance. His career spans prestigious research roles in the UK, where he focused on developing in vitro models for carcinogen screening, and leadership positions in the UAE healthcare sector, where he has been instrumental in advancing precision medicine.
