Dr. Jawad Yousaf is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Abu Dhabi University. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an Advance HE Fellow (FHEA). He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with expertise in radar and microwave systems, electromagnetic compatibility, and AI-enabled sensing technologies. His research is strongly driven by sustainability and translational impact, focusing on smart and sustainable agriculture, energy-efficient sensing systems, autonomous robotic platforms, non-invasive health monitoring, and intelligent infrastructure solutions. Dr. Yousaf is the author/co-author of more than 58 SCOPUS-indexed peer-reviewed journal articles and 85 peer-reviewed conference publications, with a strong record of international and industry-engaged research. He actively leads funded and industry-collaborative research initiatives that convert advanced engineering and AI innovations into scalable solutions aligned with national and global sustainability priorities.
