Dr. Murad Al-Rajab is an Assistant Professor and Software Engineering Program Coordinator at Abu Dhabi University with over 19 years of academic experience in computer science, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Huddersfield, UK, and dual master’s degrees in Information Systems Management and Computer Science.
His research focuses on the application of AI and machine learning in healthcare (including cardio vascular diseases, cancer classification, autism, Alzheimer and dementia), education, smart cities, and computer science education. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications, received multiple research grants, and leads projects in health informatics, explainable AI, smart infrastructure, and autism care technologies.
Dr. Al-Rajab is also a recognized mentor, having guided student teams to win national and international research competitions. He serves on editorial boards, reviews for international journals, and actively engages in advancing research and education with global impact.
