Dr. Rabah Al Abdi received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the State University of New York, USA. Prior to this, he completed his Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from New York University (NYU), USA in 2007 and his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan. In addition, he has been a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School USA and at the American University of Sharjah. His research focuses on medical imaging, signal processing, and medical informatics. Dr. Al Abdi has a registered US patent in cancer imaging and has published 30 papers in selective journals and conferences in his field.
