Division of Drug Discovery and Development Research

Center for advancing translational cancer research and personalized cancer care in the UAE

The Division of Drug Discovery and Development focuses on identifying and advancing novel therapeutic agents to combat cancer more effectively.

By integrating molecular biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and translational research, the division aims to transform scientific discoveries into life-saving treatments.

Our researchers explore new drug targets, design innovative compounds, and evaluate their efficacy using state-of-the-art preclinical models and high-throughput screening platforms. The division also collaborates closely with clinical researchers to accelerate the translation of promising candidates from the laboratory to clinical trials.

Through a comprehensive and collaborative approach, the Division of Drug Discovery and Development drives innovation in precision therapeutics, contributing to the development of safer, more effective cancer treatments that improve patient survival and quality of life.
