Dana AlAdra is a seasoned human resources leader with over 13 years of progressive experience in higher education HR management. As Assistant Manager of the Talent Empowerment and Growth Department at Abu Dhabi University (ADU), Dana is dedicated to building a high-performing, engaged workforce through strategic talent development, compensation excellence, and people-centered TEG practices.

Throughout her career at ADU — where she has served in roles spanning TEG Coordinator, Compensation & Benefits Officer, and Senior TEG Advisor — Dana has built deep expertise in compensation and benefits strategy, job structuring and benchmarking, HR policy development, and HRIS implementation. She has led salary benchmarking studies, overseen payroll operations, and collaborated with Finance and senior leadership on workforce planning and compliance, consistently ensuring alignment with UAE labour law and institutional goals.

Dana is a firm advocate for leveraging technology to advance HR effectiveness. She is proficient in PeopleSoft ERP, Power BI, and a suite of AI and automation tools, enabling her team to drive data-informed decisions, streamline workflows, and enhance the employee experience. Her analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement have been central to building scalable HR systems that support ADU's evolving institutional needs.

Dana holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from UAE University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Management Information Systems) from Al Ain University of Science & Technology. She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and an Aon Job Evaluation Certified practitioner, with her SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation currently in progress.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dana is known for her collaborative spirit, stakeholder management skills, and dedication to fostering a culture of growth and excellence. She remains actively engaged with the latest developments in UAE labour legislation and higher education HR best practices, ensuring that ADU's talent strategies are always forward-looking and compliant.
