The Responsible AI Consortium offers universities and business schools worldwide a forum for integrating and advancing AI in higher education. The Consortium develops project-based learning opportunities, fosters collaboration in research, and provides a sandbox environment for piloting new AI-driven technologies.
RAIC is built on four main pillars:

Experiential Learning Programme
The Responsible AI Consortium (RAIC) Experiential Learning Programme is a 6-week, team-based experience where
students collaborate with mentors and partners to build, promote and apply real-world AI solutions grounded in
ethics, inclusion, and responsibility.
Participants will:
- Work in virtual teams across multiple institutions, countries and sectors
- Address a real-world problem, submitted by companies, global organisations, policy makers and start-ups.
- Develop a ready to use solution for the Partner – can be a prototype of an AI agent, Go-to-Market strategy for an AI product, policy-making recommendations on AI-related matters, etc.
- Present outcomes to the Partner

- Attend an information session and register on RAIC portal, sharing your industry interests and skills
- Companies and global organisations submit AI-related projects. Some projects require tech development, others are focussed application of AI tools for the benefit of the organization.
- Students and mentors are matched with projects based on their interests and skills, creating diverse interdisciplinary international teams.
- Teams collaborate virtually to develop practical solutions with tangible, real-world applications.
- Students will be assessed on the basis of a group project output (a report or equivalent) and an online group presentation to an expert panel, including representatives of employer who set the challenge, a QS representative, and academic staff from the partner universities.
