Visit and Study Abroad

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Beijing, China, to participate in an international summer camp focused on renewable and sustainable energy. Throughout the camp, we explored different technologies, techniques, and systems used to achieve sustainability. Through classroom lectures and company visits we had the chance to learn about advanced machinery and real-world applications while being guided by highly experienced professors and experts in the field. This helped to see how we learn to be applied in real world industries. The experience went far beyond academics. Being surrounded by students from different backgrounds allowed me to build new friendships, create meaningful connections, and become part of an international community. As well as being the opportunity to explore Beijing and learn about its rich ancient history, culture, and the stories behind the city. From learning about the future of sustainable energy to discovering the history of one of the world’s most fascinating cities, this trip was truly an experience.

My experience with the Feeling Korea program was truly unforgettable and one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Being given the opportunity to travel to South Korea and represent Abu Dhabi University made the experience even more special and meaningful for me. The program was beautifully organized and offered so much more than academics; It gave us the chance to experience Korean culture, traditions, food, university life, and everyday life in Korea. From participating in cultural activities and workshops to exploring beautiful places, trying traditional Korean food, experiencing local traditions, visiting different attractions, and taking part in various group activities, every day brought something new and exciting. Studying and spending time at Jeonbuk National University was another highlight, as it allowed me to experience student life in Korea while gaining valuable knowledge and memories. Representing my university in Korea was an honour, and this journey will always hold a very special place in my heart.
