The Employability and Alumni Relations Office (EARO) is part of the Student Affairs Department, providing career and alumni services for ADU students and graduates.

The Employability and Alumni Relations Office (EARO) is available between 9am and 6pm, Sunday to Thursday. You can call us on 02 5015255 or email us at careers@adu.ac.ae.

EARO provides several employability services including but not limited to the following:

  1. Employability guidance: career assessments, career planning, CV and LinkedIn profile writing, job and internship search, mock interviews and other employability workshops.
  2. Employability events: career fairs, employer meetings and recruitment days.
  3. Internship: Our Internship program, which is part of your graduation requirements, provides you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge with practical work experience. Your internship may lead to a full-time job after graduation.
  4. On-campus Student Employment Program Provides on-campus part-time employment to eligible students who wish to work and acquire valuable work experience while studying at ADU. If you are a current ADU student, you may apply for part-time on-campus work as long as you meet the Student Employment Program’s (SEP) eligibility criteria. ADU’s many departments and Colleges offer employment. Please contact our Student Affairs Department to discuss your options.

Eligibility for internship differs from program to program. If you are eligible, EARO/your College will contact you through your University email to start your application. You are advised to visit your Academic Advisor to discuss the best time to apply for an internship.

Yes. We provide two main internship workshops and will invite you to attend through our internal student communication application, ADU Groups - https://adugroups.adu.ac.ae.
All career events related to the EARO will be shared with students and alumni through the ADU Groups platform, https://adugroups.adu.ac.ae.

Our EARO provides several alumni services including but not limited to the following:

  1. Alumni events
  2. Alumni Club Card for university access and corporate discounts
  3. Career opportunities for ADU graduates
  4. Charity events
  5. Networking opportunities

To be part of the ADU Alumni, you must create an account in our portal by following the steps below:

  1. Visit https://alumni.adu.ac.ae/
  2. Create an alumni account (using your email)
  3. Ensure you validate your account through the link received in your personal email
  4. EARO team will confirm your registration

All vacancies will be shared on our alumni portal and ADU Groups platform (https://adugroups.adu.ac.ae).

Career Guidance and Advising is offered to students and fresh graduates who have career enquiries. The Employability and Alumni Relations Office assists them in improving their strategies to achieve their career goals through a series of practical and effective action plans.

Students can book one-on-one sessions with the Employability and Alumni Relations Office’s certified career advisors by sending an email to careers@adu.ac.ae.

Students are encouraged to increase their employability skills by attending different career development workshops. Workshops include: CV Writing and Cover Letter Writing, Job Search Strategies, Interview Skills, LinkedIn Creation and Optimization, and Email Etiquette.
