Prof. Anas Ratib Alsoud is the Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and a Global Higher Education Innovation Fellow at the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard University. He is a Professor of Informatics, specializing in electronic business and commerce, with over 15 years of experience in advancing academic excellence, university rankings, and accreditation across the Arab world. Prof. Alsoud holds a BSc in Computer Information Systems from the University of Jordan (2006), an MSc in Managing Information Technology from Salford University in the UK (2007), and a PhD in Informatics from the University of Reading in the UK (2012). He currently serves on the advisory boards of leading global university ranking organizations and has played a pivotal role in shaping higher education strategy and policy across the Arab region.
