Dr. Charles Bamford is Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and has held professorships at the University of Notre Dame, Tulane University, and Queens University of Charlotte, among others.
He is the lead author of two influential textbooks, Entrepreneurship: The Art, Science & Process for Success (McGraw Hill) and Strategic Management & Business Policy used by more than 700 colleges and universities worldwide, alongside six other books including The Strategy Mindset 2.0.
Chuck is also Managing Partner of Bamford Associates, LLC, a strategy advisory firm he founded in 2013 that has worked directly with more than 170 organizations across the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors to re-imagine and implement strategic direction.
As recipient of 22 Professor of the Year awards, he brings a rare combination of academic rigor and hands-on consulting experience, having led over 200 strategy engagements spanning virtually every industry, to the conversation on how universities, industry, and government can build effective innovation ecosystems.
