Trained as a computer scientist at the University of Amsterdam, M’hamed has played a pivotal role in shaping Elsevier’s portfolio of research intelligence tools, including Scopus, SciVal, and the InsightGraph platform. He leads teams responsible for delivering advanced analytics, research evaluation frameworks, and bespoke consulting services that support evidence-based decision-making in science and higher education.
M’hamed is known for his strategic vision and collaborative approach, working closely with national ministries, academic leaders, and international organizations to advance research excellence, innovation, and societal impact.
