Lieutenant Colonel Dana Humaid Al Marzouqi is a distinguished law enforcement official from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), currently serving as the Director General of the International Affairs Bureau at the UAE Ministry of Interior. In April, the UAE was elected to lead INTERPOL's newly established Committee on Governance, and Lt. Col. Humaid was elected as its chairman, securing 67% of the votes from INTERPOL's member states.

In her capacity at the Ministry of Interior, she oversees all international collaboration efforts, managing relations and partnerships with international law enforcement agencies, organizations and major events worldwide. She also leads multiple international police task forces and heads the Secretariat of the International Security Alliance, a coalition of Ministries of Interior from 11 countries collaborating on various security issues.

Lt. Col. Humaid is a passionate advocate for the safety and security of vulnerable communities, with a particular focus on child protection. She oversees the Ministry's Child Protection Centre and has led strategic plans to combat online child sexual abuse in the UAE. Her efforts include contributing to the development and enhancement of national child protection legislation and policies.

Internationally, Lt. Col. Humaid serves as a Board Member of the WeProtect Global Alliance and the Virtual Global Taskforce, both dedicated to eliminating online child sexual exploitation. She co-chairs the AI for Safer Children initiative, a collaboration between the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and the UAE Ministry of Interior aimed at leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for child protection.

In addition to her roles in law enforcement, she is a founding member and President of the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities, an NGO that mobilizes faith and spiritual leaders to ensure community safety. She also leads the Secretariat of the Secure Communities Forum, a platform that brings together professionals from various disciplines to collaborate on community safety initiatives.

In 2023, she played an instrumental role in establishing the International Initiative of Law Enforcement for Climate (I2LEC), launched by the UAE Ministry of Interior. The organisation's aim is to integrate law enforcement agencies into global efforts to combat climate change and environmental crimes. The initiative was officially introduced at the World Police Summit 2023 and has since garnered support from over 20 countries and international organizations, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and INTERPOL. To date, the organisation has conducted dozens of training sessions and on the ground policing operations across Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
Prior to her tenure at the Ministry, she served as Head of Advisory Affairs in the Strategy Department of Abu Dhabi Police and worked with the General Secretariat of the UAE Cabinet.
