Faculty Careers

Abu Dhabi University's (ADU) College of Business is a multi-campus business school offering international programs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The College is among the 1% of the world's business schools accredited by both the AACSB and EQUIS and in 2024 was ranked by Times Higher Education at 101 – 125 in the world in Business and Economics.

We are now seeking faculty to deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral teaching as well as thesis supervision in the following discipline areas:

  • Assistant Professor in Management.
  • Assistant Professor in Human Resources Management.
  • Assistant Professor in Accounting (Auditing, Taxation, Government Accounting and Computer Applications in Accounting).
  • Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
  • Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Full-time (teaching, research, and service)

Primary roles and responsibilities for full-time appointments include, but not limited to:

  • Assist in developing undergraduate curricula and course content as directed.
  • Supervise graduation projects and teach courses, organize seminars/workshops.
  • Develop a research program and design graduation projects with high affinity to the needs of professional practice and local/global communities.
  • Provide students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in assigned subjects
  • Evaluate students’ performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success
  • Participate in developing and enhancing assessment tools for the learning outcomes of the program.
  • Actively participate in service, including department, college, and university committees.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in interior design or related field from a recognized, highly ranked, and internationally accredited institution of higher education. Candidates without doctoral degrees may be considered with an excellent record of peer-reviewed publications, professional practice experience, and effective teaching.
  • Candidates with degrees, other than doctoral must have a minimum of six years of full-time teaching experience, along with significant interior design industry experience.
  • Candidates with present evidence of creative accomplishment in terms of completed design work, exhibitions, presentations, publication, and juried recognition at the regional, national, and international levels.
  • Candidates should be active in societies/ boards of professional organizations and/or editorial boards of recognized journals/publications

The IMTS department is looking into hiring an IMTS Support Specialist for the Abu Dhabi Campus at Abu Dhabi University. The purpose of this role is to provide IT support to end users for computer hardware, software, other technology equipment, and business-related applications. The Support Specialist serves as the primary contact for all incoming calls and email requests for technical support.
