‘ADU STEMStar International High School Summer Program’

Dates: Monday–Wednesday, 7–9 July 2025

Location: Abu Dhabi University, Main Campus

Held in collaboration with STEMStar, this three-day program welcomes a delegation of 10 middle school students (ages 10–14) from China for an immersive educational and cultural experience in the UAE.

Through hands-on workshops, simulations, and interactive lectures, participants will explore emerging fields including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Health, Broadcasting, and Sustainability. All sessions are led by distinguished ADU faculty members, tailored specifically for a younger audience, and designed to ignite curiosity and critical thinking.

Program Highlights

Over the three-day program, students engaged in hands-on sessions covering AI, robotics, entrepreneurship, leadership, health, and sustainability. On Monday, July 7, the program began with a Welcoming and Overview Session, followed by a workshop on artificial intelligence led by Eng. Marah Alhalabi and a robotics simulation in the afternoon. Tuesday, July 8 featured an entrepreneurship session with Dr. Kiran Nair, a creative media workshop with Ms. Mona Abdallah and Mr. Cizar Alsankari, and leadership training by Prof. Fauzia Jabeen, along with team-building activities. On Wednesday, July 9, students explored healthy living with Dr. Avanti Prabhakhar, learned about green careers from Dr. Nada Heggy, and participated in an AI and digital tools session with Eng. The program reflects ADU’s commitment to nurturing a global mindset in learners of all ages and building bridges between cultures through education and innovation.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Deans, Faculty, and Staff whose efforts make this program possible. Calendar invites for each session will be shared shortly. Faculty contributions will be appropriately recognized and compensated.
