Visit of Polytechnique Montréal
As part of our ongoing commitment to global engagement and academic excellence, Abu Dhabi University welcomed a student delegation from PolyFinances, the student-led financial association at Polytechnique Montréal, affiliated with Université de Montréal.
The visit was organized under the banner of our Certified Programs and Internationalization Initiatives and featured a special International Seminar on Emerging Financial Technologies titled:
'The Emergence and Growth of the FinTech Sector'

Delivered by Professor Charilaos Mertzanis, the seminar explored cutting-edge developments in financial technologies and their transformative impact on global markets. The session brought together students and faculty from ADU's College of Business and College of Engineering, fostering a rich exchange of ideas at the intersection of finance and innovation.
In addition to academic engagement, the visit served as a platform to explore institutional collaboration between Abu Dhabi University and Polytechnique Montréal. Discussions included potential joint programs, student and faculty exchange, and collaborative research. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is under consideration to formalize this promising partnership.
This visit exemplifies Abu Dhabi University's commitment to fostering international academic networks and equipping students for the evolving demands of the global financial landscape.
