University of Pennsylvania Students Visit Abu Dhabi University (ADU)

Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Geopolitics in the UAE

 

As part of Abu Dhabi University's ongoing internationalization efforts and commitment to academic collaboration, we were pleased to welcome three students from the University of Pennsylvania for an academic exchange.

The visit featured a timely seminar titled:

‘Artificial Intelligence in the UAE: Geopolitical Dynamics and Regulatory Impact’

Venue: Room L-GF-5A, Abu Dhabi University

Delivered by Professor Mohammad Ghazal, the seminar explored how artificial intelligence is influencing geopolitical strategies and regulatory frameworks within the UAE. The discussion provided attendees with a deeper understanding of AI's transformative role in shaping regional policy and international tech dynamics.

The session brought together faculty and students from multiple disciplines, creating a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and critical thinking on emerging global challenges.

In addition to the academic component, the visit opened conversations around potential collaboration between ADU and the University of Pennsylvania, including joint research opportunities, student exchange programs, and future academic partnerships.

This visit reflects Abu Dhabi University's dedication to building global academic networks and equipping students to navigate the complex intersections of technology, policy, and international relations.
