Abu Dhabi University Participates in the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos
Abu Dhabi University participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos, represented by Professor Sherine Farouk, Assistant Chancellor for Global Partnerships and Impact. Professor Farouk took part in the World University Leaders Forum (WULF) side event, ‘Universities in Global Governance: Advancing the SDGs through Knowledge, Policy, and Partnership.’ The panel, made up of senior academic leaders and higher education experts from leading institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and India, explored how universities can move beyond advocacy to deliver measurable impact through research, education, and partnerships that inform policy and practice. The themes discussed align closely with Abu Dhabi University’s strategic priorities and the UAE’s national agenda, reinforcing its commitment to global engagement, SDG-aligned research, and partnerships that connect academic insight with policy and real-world impact. During the visit, Professor Farouk also visited the UAE House in Davos, which showcases the country’s forward-looking vision and leadership in sustainability, innovation, and international cooperation.
