Five External Research Grants Awarded to ADU Research Teams

The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is proud to announce that five research teams from ADU have been awarded research grants from two external funding programs. These awards have been granted to researchers who invested their time in research that benefits strategic sectors in the UAE. Four of the teams are recipients of the ADEK Award for Research Excellence (AARE-2018) and one has received funding from Al Jalila Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization for promoting medical education and research in the UAE.
The ADU teams presented excellent research topics that were chosen based on originality, quality, feasibility and the qualifications of the researchers themselves. The grants cover research related activities, events, collaborations and technology transfer.
This is a significant achievement for Abu Dhabi University that will further open doors for research opportunities and improve our research reputation. The ORSP would like to extend its heartiest congratulations to the awardees and appreciation to all faculty members who took part in the funding programs.
