2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is proud to be the host for the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games, a multi-sport event for athletes with intellectual disabilities in the tradition of the Special Olympics movement. The event will be held from 14 – 21 March 2019 in venues around the city.

As 2019 has been announced by H.H Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Year of Tolerance, we encourage as many people as possible to support this important event. ADU students, staff and faculty who would like to attend should contact their HR representative as follows:

  • Randa Alsaheb - Abu Dhabi campus (Sunday to Thursday)
  • Omar Karim - Dubai campus (Thursdays)
  • Dana Al Adra - Al Ain campus (Sunday to Thursday)

Please make sure you register no later than 14 February 2019.
