ADU students volunteered at the Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics under the guidance of Dr. Deena Elsori, manning the Healthy Athlete corner run by the Department of Health (DOH). The Healthy Athlete corner promoted health among the athletes, focusing on nutrition, tobacco control, hydration, sun safety, bone health, physical fitness, and healthy choices.
