College of Business Students Inspired by The UAE’s Innovation Framework
Twenty students from the Entrepreneurship Management course in Al Ain participated in an inspiring field trip to two business incubators in Dubai - Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (DTEC) in Silicon Oasis and Fintech Hive in DIFC.

Accompanied by Dr. Anne van Ewijk, course instructor, Dr. Sophia Mahut-Belghiti and Dr. Gurdal Ertek, the students met with entrepreneurial experts, observed a real-life pitch for an accelerator program, visited co-working spaces, experienced the country’s innovation culture, and learnt about the practicalities of starting up a new business in the UAE.
