The Innovation Center in Al Ain organized a visit to the Al Ain Cement Factory for Chemical Engineering students.
The Innovation Center in Al Ain organized a visit to the Al Ain Cement Factory for Chemical Engineering students. The visit gave the students an understanding of the cement manufacturing process, the raw materials required, the operations of the different units within the plant including pre-treatment of the raw materials, pumping, heating, and cooling. Students were also able to observe the control systems used to maintain the different process variables such as level, temperature, pressure, and quality.
