URC Organizing Committee and Volunteers Appreciated by Chancellor
Following the successful 7th edition of the Undergraduate Research Competition (URC), the Chancellor, Prof. Waqar Ahmad, held an appreciation event for the URC team comprised of the Director of Research, Prof. Ashraf Khalil, seven organizing committee members, and 40 volunteers.
Following the successful 7th edition of the Undergraduate Research Competition (URC), the Chancellor, Prof. Waqar Ahmad, held an appreciation event for the URC team comprised of the Director of Research, Prof. Ashraf Khalil, seven organizing committee members, and 40 volunteers. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) would also like to offer its sincere gratitude to the organizers and volunteers whose relentless determination made the competition such a success.
The 7th Undergraduate Research Competition (URC) was held on 29 April 2019, with this year’s competition being bigger than ever. Abu Dhabi University hosted undergraduate students from 44 universities across the GCC region including Saudi Arabia and Oman, and a total of 34 winning teams walked away with prizes totalling over AED 120,000. The competition was also attended by mentors, judges, VIPs, and guests.
