Master’s Students Participate in 7th IEEE International Conference
Marah Alhalabi and Tasnim Basmaji, students on the MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering program, presented their research papers at the 7th IEEE International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud in Istanbul, Turkey.
Marah Alhalabi and Tasnim Basmaji, students on the MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering program, presented their research papers at the 7th IEEE International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud in Istanbul, Turkey.
Marah presented a system for wearable and outdoor motion-capture for the assessment of motion ailments. Tasnim presented an AI-powered guiding system for people of determination. Undergraduate students Maha Yaghi and Lina Alkhatib also participated in these research projects co-supervised by Drs. Mohammed Ghazal, Luay Fraiwan, Montasir Qasymeh, Ashraf Khalil, and Reem Salim.
This is the fourth year Abu Dhabi University postgraduate students have participated in this leading conference on the hot topics of the Internet of Things and mobile computing. It took place in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Mobile Web and Intelligent Information Systems for which Dr. Mohammed Ghazal, the Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, is Program Co-Chair.
