ADU’s Sustainable Campus Initiative recognized at the Annual Ceremony 2019

ADU’s Sustainable Campus Initiative (SCI) was recognized at the 2019 Annual Ceremony for its active participation in the Sustainable Action projects and Green Campus Audits.

ADU’s Sustainable Campus Initiative (SCI) was recognized at the 2019 Annual Ceremony for its active participation in the Sustainable Action projects and Green Campus Audits.

Students Marceline Premila Jerome, Asma Amiruddin, and Mohammed Ahmmed Talukder are proud leaders and active participants in the SCI, along with Green Club members.  Dr.Jolly Jacob from the College of Arts and Sciences is the faculty mentor for ADU’s Sustainable Campus Initiative.

The Sustainable Campus Initiative was launched by the Environmental Agency and sponsored by Borouge. As a leading industry partner in the Abu Dhabi community, Borouge supports health, safety, environment and education-related activities that improve the wellbeing of the communities in which it operates. Through the Sustainable Campus Initiative, together with the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi, Borouge provides the support, guidance and methodology for university students across the Emirate to commit to social responsibility and environmental stewardship and take responsibility for their campus’s ecological footprint and sustainable development.
