Profile Details
Before joining Abu Dhabi University in 2008, Dr. Haouas was Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Dubai, a visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at the UAE University, and a teaching assistant at Sorbonne University, France. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne.
An experienced teacher at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, her research interests include international economics, the labor market, development economics, applied economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, energy economics, and natural resources. Dr. Haouas has also served in the capacity of reviewer for several international economics journals and conferences.
