Profile Details
Dr. Christina Koutra joined Abu Dhabi University in 2018. Earning her Ph.D. from the University of Brighton in the UK, her multidisciplinary postdoctoral education focuses on human resource management, management, development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), political economy, political sciences, tourism, languages, and teaching in education. She has extensive experience in international curricula development and management. Her research, peer-reviewed articles, and books cover various subjects, including CSR, development, and tourism and hospitality in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Her more recent focus is on cross-cultural management and labor relations in the Middle East.
With experience as a member of Bournemouth University's research committee, a UN Prime Chair, framework/program leader at MSc level, and member for accreditation/auditing committee for universities in KSA, UK, and Greece, Dr. Koutra has also been involved in international consultancy projects and received international external agency funding for her research.
