The Study Abroad and International Exchange Programs in the College of Business (COB) provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to add an international perspective to their education by transferring their study to a partner university.

Students can undertake Short term exchanges, Dual and Collaborative degree programs, Study tours with our prestigious partner institutions based in Australia, Brazil, France, South Korea, Ireland, UK, and USA. These universities are internationally accredited and highly ranked. There are five categories of partnership agreement:

The College of Business (COB) has developed global partnerships with elite universities for Short-Term Exchange Programs, enabling students to study abroad for one semester.

Student Exchange Opportunities

Where COB students pay ADU fees and then study one semester abroad, are available at the following universities: NEOMA Business School, Burgundy School of Business, Nottingham Trent University, SDM Institute for Management Development (PG course), and the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (PG course).

Partnership between ADU and the Queensland University of Technology

Dual Degree

Undergraduate Dual Degree with Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia

The current partnership between Abu Dhabi University and the Queensland University of Technology enables undergraduate students from ADU’s College of Business to spend the first four semesters at Abu Dhabi University and then complete three semesters in Brisbane, Australia. The final semester is completed at ADU. Students receive a bachelor’s degree from both ADU and QUT.

The current partnership between Abu Dhabi University and the Queensland University of Technology enables undergraduate students from ADU’s College of Business to spend the first four semesters at Abu Dhabi University and then complete three semesters in Brisbane, Australia. The final semester is completed at ADU. Students receive a bachelor’s degree from both ADU and QUT.


Partnership with Griffith University, Australia

Joint Degree

MBA program in collaboration with Griffith University (Tourism and Event Management)

In partnership with Griffith University, Australia, Abu Dhabi University has set up a joint MBA with a concentration in Tourism and Event Management. Griffith University has an international reputation for their expertise in Tourism and Event Management and will provide students with the knowledge and skills to be part of these growth industries.

The program is delivered in the UAE with faculty from Griffith University teaching modules related to Tourism and Event Management at Abu Dhabi University.

Along with the MBA curriculum, students will study Tourism and Event Marketing, Sustainable Tourism Management, and Event Management. They will learn how to evaluate local and international trends and challenges in event management and develop an event management plan; design effective integrated marketing communication strategies for organizations involved in the tourism and event management sector; and, focusing on sustainability, they will analyze strategic and operational issues in the tourism industry and recommend appropriate strategies to address them.

Eligible COB students have the opportunity to transfer their studies after 2.5 years at ADU to Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Upon completion of three semesters at Monash University, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, which is currently ranked 55 in the world according to QS 2021 Rankings

2+2 Bachelor of Business with University College Dublin (UCD)

The partnership between Abu Dhabi University and University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, provides ADU College of Business undergraduate students with the opportunity to begin their studies at Abu Dhabi University for the first four semesters, then complete four semesters in Dublin, Ireland. The students will be awarded a bachelor's degree in business from UCD upon completing the program. UCD is currently ranked at 177 in the World 2021 QS ranking.

    


Host students from universities across the world

International Student Visits

The College of Business has agreements to host students from universities across the world for several days duration. The visit includes sessions from faculty on a wide range of topics related to doing business in the Middle East, industry visits, interacting with the host students, and visits to important cultural destinations in the UAE.
