The 6th Women in Engineering Forum 2024 is proudly presented by the College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University in collaboration with fib-UAE in partnership with Abu Dhabi Municipality, along with support from local and international authorities and engineering societies.
Under the theme 'Engineering the Future: Women Breaking Barriers with Innovation for a Sustainable World,' this year's forum is a dynamic platform that celebrates the remarkable contributions of female engineers. Following COP28 hosted in the UAE, we emphasize sustainability goals, aligning our discussions with global efforts to create a more sustainable and resilient future.
Our distinguished speakers, comprising influential women in engineering, will share their experiences, knowledge, and skills, focusing on groundbreaking innovations that contribute to sustainable development. The forum will delve into the challenges faced by female engineers, particularly within the region, and propose recommendations to harness the full potential of women in advancing the engineering profession and the broader community.
The forum aims to reach a diverse regional and international audience through a hybrid format that will include enlightening keynote speeches, technical presentations from international and local experts, and engaging panel discussions. As we explore the roadmap to bridge the gender gap in implementing smart construction technologies and various engineering fields, we aim to optimize the role of female engineers in addressing evolving industrial challenges.
Aligned with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, the forum is committed to empowering women in the economy and maximizing their participation in the workforce. Building on the success of our previous five rounds of the forum, the 6th Women in Engineering Forum 2024 is set to be a milestone event, fostering innovation, sustainability, and gender equality in the engineering landscape.
