Profile Details
Dr. Nejla Ould Daoud Ellili joined Abu Dhabi University in 2009 after obtaining her Ph.D. in Finance from the Institut Superieur de Gestion of Tunis, Tunisia. She spent seven years as Coordinator of Finance and Economics in the College of Business and served on several committees, including Recruitment, Curriculum, Accreditation, Assurance of Learning, and Promotion. Her research interests include corporate governance, ownership structure, managerial entrenchment, financial policy, and capital structure. More recently, her research has focused on sustainability, corporate social responsibility, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing, and anti-corruption, with an emphasis on examining the extent of these types of disclosures in the annual reports and websites of the conventional and Islamic banks traded on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) and Dubai Financial Markets (DFM).
