Professional Development Certificate for School Leaders

Introduction

Abu Dhabi University is pleased to present the Future Schools 2030 workshop series for high school principals, teachers, and councilors. The program involves 90-minute-long workshops and innovation labs on various topics related to the future of schools and learning. A significant focus will be on building capacity for teaching and learning in the current virtual and hybrid learning environments, as well as on stewardship for creating an innovative and inspiring school culture. Upon the completion of the program, the participants will receive a certificate of completion from Abu Dhabi University.

Learning Objectives

The workshop series will discuss the vision for schools in 2030 and address fundamental questions such as:

 

Target Audience

The program is targeted at principals, teachers, and councilors in public and private schools in the United Arab Emirates. The capacity of the program is 300, with a maximum of three participants per school.

Structure

Abu Dhabi University is organizing the workshops, which will be facilitated by ADU faculty. They will feature lectures, discussions, and interactive exercises. Each session will result in an agreed set of recommendations and best practices to support the implementation of the discussed agendas. Policy recommendations and calls for community action will be formulated.
