Abu Dhabi University to promote lifelong learning with series of Knowledge Seminars

In a bid to promote a culture of life-long learning, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) launched a new community-focused initiative titled “ADU’s Knowledge Seminars” which hosts a wide range of experts from both the public and private sectors, to share their personal and professional experiences and successes with students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Fostering a platform for learning, discussions, and the dissemination of knowledge, the year-long series will feature talks on human development, smart cities, Blockchain platforms, Bitcoin, VAT in the UAE, and many more.  

H.E Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri Chairman of ADU’s Executive Board explained that this initiative is a qualitative step and an addition to the agenda of the university's activities and programs throughout the academic year, which will allow the members of the Abu Dhabi University family, students, graduates and academic and administrative staff. And the experiences of specialized speakers to enhance their ability to self-development and encourage them to personal development and enhance their professional skills, which entrenches the dissemination of a culture of continuous learning and open debate and prepared in accordance with the philosophy of the university that made the leadership and Miz address them at various levels locally, regionally and internationally.

Bin Harmal explained that the "Knowledge Seminars Series" initiative will provide the university with opportunities to explore building partnerships and developing new relations of cooperation with different groups and segments of society, as well as strengthening the strong partnership relations with its strategic partners from various government agencies and community institutions in the country. The Abu Dhabi Commission for Technology Development, the National Media Council, and many others who have contributed to supporting its academic and community path and enhancing its status as a national vision for higher education, scientific research and the service of the community. With.

•          Additionally, ADU has strong strategic partnerships with various prestigious organizations in the UAE such as the Ministry of Community Development, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, Technology Development Commission, National Media Council and many others.
