The speaker, Dr. Ming Ding, is a senior research scientist at Data 61, CSIRO, Australia, who has authored over 80 papers in IEEE journals and conferences and currently holds 14 US patents. He spoke about privacy concerns involving personal data such as travel routes, medical databases and financial records, as well as privacy-preserving techniques in data publishing.
His talk was extremely enlightening and was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
