Call for Proposals announced in support of the Year of Tolerance
The year of 2019 has been declared as the Year of Tolerance by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai. It is his belief that the UAE should be a global reference point in terms of tolerance through its practices, and research production has also been deemed an integral factor in establishing tolerance in the region.

It is his belief that the UAE should be a global reference point in terms of tolerance through its practices, and research production has also been deemed an integral factor in establishing tolerance in the region.
In line with the Year of Tolerance and its vision, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) has announced a call for proposals for a new faculty research initiative entitled ‘Research on Tolerance’. The aim of the initiative is to honor the UAE’s 2019 ambition by contributing as an academic community.
The ORSP has assigned a total budget of AED100,000 for the program with a maximum of AED20,000 per research project. Faculty are encouraged to submit their research proposals through research@adu.ac.ae by 24 January 2019. Accepted projects will be expected to be presented and published on 15 July 2019.
