Results Announced for First Phase of the 7th UG Research Competition

Abu Dhabi University has once again received an overwhelming response to its annual Undergraduate Research Competition (URC). With 700 submissions received overall, this is a record-breaking number in the history of the competition, which is an indicator of the ever-growing success of the competition.

Abu Dhabi University has once again received an overwhelming response to its annual Undergraduate Research Competition (URC). With 700 submissions received overall, this is a record-breaking number in the history of the competition, which is an indicator of the ever-growing success of the competition.

The URC is currently in its first phase, with the initial results of research abstracts having been announced. A total of 439 research projects have been accepted for the second phase of the competition, with the majority of participants being in the Mechanical Engineering, Sociology and Finance categories.

This year Abu Dhabi University will welcome undergraduate students from across 54 universities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. Hosted by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), preparations are well underway to welcome visitors from across the GCC.

The competition is, once again, inspiring students by promoting academic research activities and appreciating their achievements through awarding over AED 120,000 in prize money.
